Woodstock Meets Mike Wolfe

Things around the shop stay pretty exciting- every day is different and the door is always open. But when Mike Wolfe from American Pickers on the History Channel and Nashville store Antique Archaeology walked into the office, we knew it was going to be a great day!

You've probably already guessed that everyone here at Woodstock is a fan of Mike's show-- and when I say a 'fan', I mean, multi-marathon-episode-watchers. We love his show. And who wouldn't? The history Mike and his gang find on American Pickers every week is just as cool and exciting as the history we see in every scrap of wood at Woodstock. We're sort of history geeks, I guess.

So when Mike stopped by to check out our flooring, he and Brent immediately started sharing stories of great finds: motorcycles, guitars and all things VW. Turns out, Mike is just as crazy about VW's as Brent is! It was a cool opportunity to see two people so excited about what they do, swapping stories and pictures and hey, maybe there was a little bit of bragging, too!

If you can't get enough of American Pickers on the History Channel, and you live in the Nashville area, check out Mike's shop at the Marathon Village, Antique Archaeology! Some of his best picks from the show are for sale there and it is high on our list of favorite places in town.

Thanks for coming by Mike, and keep up the good work!
