The holidays are right around the corner and we had our first snow here in Nashville this week, which means it is officially MANTEL SEASON here at Woodstock!

With temps dropping and darkness setting in around 4pm, ‘tis the season for netflix, crockpot meals and alllll of the fires.

So, is your fireplace in need of a makeover? Looking to add the character of reclaimed wood to your living room?

Here at Wodostock we’ve been turning 100 year-old reclaimed beams into one-of-a-kind mantels for over 20 years.

While we also specialize in flooring, accent wall, farm tables & ceiling beams - mantels have always been one of our most popular products. In fact, on average we sell about 5 mantels a week!

Question: How does it work?

Answer: There are 2 ways to purchase a mantel from us:

Option 1: you pick out one of our reclaimed beams that is ready to go! We typically keep around 10-15 mantels that are already sanded, stained and finished. Find one that you LOVE and we will then cut it down to the length you need (if we are just cutting off one end, we can do this while you wait!).
Below are a few examples of what our finished beams looked like:

Option 2: something a bit more custom! If none of our finished beams are what you are envisioning for your home, we will find an unfinished beam in the shop or yard that fits your exact needs.
Then, we will pull out the nails, sand it and cut it down to the exact thickness and length you need. After the beam is all cleaned up - we will stain it to the color of your choice. Turnaround time on a custom mantel like this is typically 3-5 business days.
